Tweety’s began with one woman’s decision to reclaim her health—and grew into a mission to reimagine vegan food as bold, crave-worthy cuisine.
What started as a personal challenge to go meatless after a health scare led Stephanie Rucker down a path of discovery into the full potential of plant-based cooking.
Stephanie didn’t become an entrepreneur overnight—she had already walked that path, guided by a lifelong passion for food. What she didn’t expect was to become a vegan entrepreneur. Her shift to plant-based cooking was driven by a desire to feel better, but the options she encountered left her uninspired.
Tired of bland salads and uninspired menu swaps, she began recreating the meals she craved from scratch—not just comfort food, but dishes that make you pause mid-bite and ask, “Wait, this is vegan?”
Fueled by curiosity, culture, and a love of experimentation, Stephanie began crafting recipes that honored both her palate and her roots—without a trace of animal products. In doing so, she built something more than a menu: a brand rooted in inclusion, creativity, and undeniable flavor.
From private tastings to pop-ups and packed events across Grand Rapids, her food now draws a vibrant mix of vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians, and curious foodies—proving that vegan cuisine can be anything but boring.
